THE NEXT INSTALLMENT

Challenge

Back in the first installment of CD Red’s Cyberpunk, they did a collab shoe with Addidas that did not sell very well. The original design failed to capture the futuristic dystopic aesthetic of the Cyberpunk world, and didn’t justify it’s price point within the market for the design. Nike is known for their edgy campaigns, extensive shoe collaborations with other artists and companies, and futuristic line of shoes, making them the ideal partner for a franchise such as Cyberpunk

Goal

The purpose for this case study was to showcase several different 3d effects in one animation that would reveal a new collaboration design between Nike and CD Projekt Red. 

Solution

Beyond the visuals, the project serves as a proof of concept for how speculative design can be positioned within brand storytelling, bridging product visualization, motion graphics, and world-building. It highlights the ability to develop a visual language that can extend into broader campaigns, interactive formats, or immersive experiences.
